CAC post-incorporation services — status report, CTC, changes and updates
Every filing your business needs after registration, handled by an accredited agent anywhere in Nigeria: CAC status report, certified true copies, change of name, address, directors, shareholders, share capital and trustees.
Since 2024 most post-incorporation filings must be done by an accredited agent on the CAC post-incorporation portal — which is why business owners struggle to do them alone. Topweb Technologies prepares the resolutions and forms, pays the CAC fees and follows up until the updated documents are issued.

Post-incorporation — frequently asked questions
What is CAC post-incorporation?
Post-incorporation covers every filing you make with CAC after your business or company is registered: annual returns, status reports and certified true copies, changing the company name, address or business objects, adding or removing directors and shareholders, increasing share capital, and updating trustees for NGOs.
What is a CAC status report and when do I need it?
A status report (also called a company extract) is CAC’s official summary of your company: registered name, RC number, address, directors, shareholders and share capital. Banks, tender boards, embassies and investors ask for a recent one — usually not older than 3 months.
What is a certified true copy (CTC)?
A CTC is a CAC-certified copy of a filed document — your certificate, memorandum and articles, or a specific form. You need it when the original is lost, or when a bank, court or client requires a certified version.
How do I change my company name with CAC?
A special resolution is passed, the new name is reserved, and the change of name form is filed with CAC. A new certificate is issued with the same RC number. We handle it end to end.
How do I add or remove a director?
File a notice of change of directors with CAC with the board resolution and the new director’s details. We prepare the resolution and file it, typically within 3–7 working days.
Can I update my business name (enterprise) details?
Yes — change of business name, address, nature of business or proprietors are all filed as post-registration changes for business names.
How much do post-incorporation services cost?
Status report and CTC from ₦20,000; change of address from ₦30,000; add/remove director from ₦35,000; change of name from ₦40,000; increase in share capital from ₦45,000 (plus stamp duty). CAC fees are included.
