Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of the All Nigerian Newspapers app.

Last updated: 18 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the All Nigerian Newspapers app ("the app"), published by Topweb Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). Please read them carefully. By downloading, installing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you would like to try the app, you can download All Nigerian Newspapers free on Google Play.

About the app

All Nigerian Newspapers is a news aggregator. It gathers publicly available headlines from Nigerian newspapers and media organisations and links to the original sources, where the full articles are published. The app itself does not write, host, edit or own the news articles it links to. It is provided free of charge and is intended to make discovering and reading Nigerian news more convenient by bringing many sources together in one place.

These Terms exist to set out the rules for using the app fairly and clearly, to explain the important point that the app is an aggregator rather than a publisher, and to make plain the responsibilities of both you and us. We've tried to keep the language as straightforward as possible while covering the matters that a service agreement needs to address. Please read them in full; by continuing to use the app, you confirm that you understand and accept them.

Eligibility and acceptance

By using the app, you confirm that you are able to form a binding agreement under applicable law and that you will use the app in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are using the app on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Content ownership and intellectual property

The app does not claim ownership of third-party articles, trademarks, logos, publisher names, images or other content that it links to or displays. All such intellectual property belongs to the respective publishers and content owners. Headlines and summaries are used to help you identify and navigate to stories, and where applicable, articles are accessed from or linked to their original sources so you can read the complete publication directly from the publisher. Nothing in the app should be taken as a claim of ownership over, or endorsement by, any publisher.

Permitted use

You may use the app for your personal, non-commercial purpose of discovering and reading Nigerian news. You agree to use the app lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to: use the app in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations; interfere with or disrupt the app, its servers or networks; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or related systems; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app except to the extent permitted by law; use automated means to scrape or harvest content through the app in a manner that infringes the rights of publishers; or use the app to infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party.

Relationship with publishers

All Nigerian Newspapers has an important, and deliberately respectful, relationship with the publishers whose headlines it surfaces. The app drives readers to publishers' own websites, where their full articles, advertising and subscriptions live — so rather than competing with the press, it helps connect readers to it. We do not represent that we are affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any publisher unless expressly stated. Any publisher with questions about how the app links to their content is welcome to contact us through the details below, and we will respond in good faith.

Third-party content and websites

The app links to external publisher websites and may display third-party advertising. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, opinions, policies, products or practices of those third parties. The inclusion of any source or link does not imply our endorsement of it. When you visit a third-party website, you do so subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy. Any dealings you have with third parties through the app, including advertisers, are solely between you and the third party.

News accuracy and availability

News content is sourced from third-party publishers. We do not guarantee that any content is complete, accurate, current, reliable or available at all times. Headlines and articles reflect the reporting of their respective publishers, not our views. The availability of individual sources may change without notice as publishers update, restructure or discontinue their websites. Features that rely on live content or the internet may be temporarily unavailable for reasons beyond our control.

Notifications

The app offers optional breaking-news notifications, which are sent only if you enable them and choose your topics. By enabling notifications, you consent to receiving them; you may disable them at any time in the app's Settings or your device settings. Notifications are provided as a convenience and we do not guarantee their timeliness or delivery.

No professional advice

Content accessed through the app is for general information only and does not constitute professional, financial, legal, medical or other advice. You should not rely on any article as the sole basis for a decision, and you should seek appropriate professional advice where needed. Any reliance you place on content is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any defects will be corrected. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all such warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Topweb Technologies Ltd and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the app or any third-party content it links to. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Because the app is provided free of charge, this allocation of risk is a fundamental part of these Terms.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Topweb Technologies Ltd from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

Changes to the app and these Terms

We are continually improving the app and may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or your access to it, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or where necessary to comply with law or protect our users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability and indemnity provisions — will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with the relevant jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Summary in plain language

In short: All Nigerian Newspapers is a free app that gathers Nigerian news headlines in one place and links you to the original publishers, where the full stories live. The app doesn't own that journalism — the publishers do. You agree to use the app fairly and lawfully; we provide it as-is and can't guarantee that third-party content is always accurate or available; and because it's free, our liability is limited as set out below. The full terms follow, and we've kept them as clear as we can so you know exactly where you stand.

Definitions

For clarity: "the app" means the All Nigerian Newspapers mobile application; "content" means the headlines, summaries, links and other materials made available through the app; "publisher" means a third-party newspaper or media organisation whose content the app links to; "you" means the user of the app; and "we", "us" and "our" mean Topweb Technologies Ltd. These definitions apply throughout these Terms.

Your preferences and data

The app lets you set preferences such as categories, states, notifications and reading settings. You are responsible for the choices you make in the app. How your information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us when you use the app.

Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the app, you agree that we may use them to improve and develop the app without any obligation to you and without restriction. Feedback is provided voluntarily, and we may act on it, or not, at our discretion. This helps us keep improving the app for all readers based on the community's input.

Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep the app available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the app at any time, including sources and features, and we are not liable to you for doing so. Because the app depends on third-party publishers, some changes are outside our control.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, network or internet failures, actions of third-party publishers or service providers, and changes in law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire agreement; waiver; assignment

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app and supersede any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or by operation of law.

Language

These Terms are provided in English. If they are translated and a conflict arises between versions, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
