Privacy and data safety

Free Invoice Maker Privacy Policy

This policy explains the Android app, the documents you create, this website and support communications.

1. Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Free Invoice Maker product website and the Android application listed on Google Play as Invoice & Quotation Generator, package com.freeinvoicemaker. The app is published by Top-web Technologies, and this site is maintained by Topweb Technologies Ltd. It also applies when you contact us about the product. It does not govern Google Play, Android, email, messaging, cloud storage, PDF viewers or other services operated by third parties.

2. Current Google Play Data safety declaration

The Google Play listing reviewed on 24 August 2026 stated “No data collected” and “No data shared with third parties.” Google describes this section as information provided by the developer and notes that practices may vary or change. Consult the live Google Play Data safety panel for the latest declaration tied to the current app version.

This policy does not expand that declaration into a claim about unrelated services. The app listing also states that the app contains ads. Advertising and Google Play components may be governed by Google or another identified provider under their policies and platform disclosures.

3. Information you place in documents

You may enter business information, customer details, document numbers, dates, descriptions, prices, tax, discounts, notes, sender or receiver details and other content needed for invoices, receipts, quotations and waybills. You decide what to enter. Generated PDFs may contain personal or commercially sensitive information even when the app developer does not collect it.

Use data minimization: include only information genuinely required for the document. Do not enter passwords, authentication codes, full card numbers, sensitive identity documents, health information or unrelated personal details. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to use customer information and for satisfying notice, security and retention duties that apply to your business.

4. Files stored on your device

When you download a PDF, Android or a system file provider may save it to Downloads or another location you choose. Access to that file depends on device settings, backups, installed apps and anyone who can unlock the device. Protect the device with a screen lock, install updates and use trusted file viewers. Delete obsolete copies when your lawful retention period permits, and keep required backups securely.

5. Sharing and third-party services

If you share a PDF through email, messaging, cloud storage or another app, that service receives the information you choose to send. Its operator controls transmission, storage, metadata, recipients and retention under its own terms. Confirm the recipient, choose a suitable channel and review the third party’s privacy information. We do not control whether a recipient forwards or stores a document.

6. Website technical information

Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure pages, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, referring page, browser, device, response status and security events. Hosting providers may keep limited logs for reliability, abuse prevention and diagnostics. This static site does not require an account to read public content.

If analytics, advertising or other optional website technologies are introduced later, this policy and any required consent mechanism should be updated before use. Browser privacy signals and cookie controls operate according to the technologies actually deployed.

7. Support communications

When you email or submit a support message, we receive the contact details and content you provide. We use that information to understand the request, reply, investigate product issues, prevent abuse and maintain an appropriate support record. Do not send real customer documents or confidential business data unless specifically required and authorized. Prefer a sanitized example, exact error text, app version, Android version and reproduction steps.

8. Legal bases and purposes

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, support and website operations may rely on steps requested by you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent where expressly obtained. The applicable basis depends on the context and jurisdiction. We do not use a support request as permission to publish its contents or market unrelated services.

9. Retention

Technical logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics and hosting operations, subject to provider settings. Support communications are retained long enough to answer, document resolution, prevent abuse and satisfy legal needs, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed. Your own PDFs remain under your control and retention obligations.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to this static information site and support process, but no device, network or storage method is completely secure. Users should update Android and the app, use official distribution, protect device access, review attachments and avoid public or insecure channels for confidential documents.

11. Children

The product is a general business-document utility and is not directed to children. Minors should use business tools only with appropriate adult authorization. Do not enter children’s personal information unless lawfully necessary and protected.

12. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain personal information processed through support or website operations, and to complain to a regulator. We may need to verify identity and determine whether an exception applies. Files stored only on your device can be managed directly through Android and the relevant storage service.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app, website, law or providers change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate channel. Questions or rights requests can be sent through the contact page or to info@topwebtechnologies.net. Include enough information to identify the request, but not unnecessary sensitive data.
